The San Diego Padres have been hit with another injury to their bullpen, as Jason Adam has landed on the 15-day injured list with a shoulder strain.

Márquez had a 5.76 ERA in 29⅔ innings to begin the year in the Padres' rotation before landing on the injured list with forearm nerve inflammation.
The Padres' bullpen, which has the fifth-best ERA in the majors at 3.56, will need to step up in Adam's absence, with rookie right-hander Bradgley Rodriguez and left-handers Wandy Peralta and Yuki Matsui looking to make an impact.
Adrian Morejón, who has a 3.32 ERA, will be key to the Padres' success, along with Mason Miller, who has a 0.78 ERA and has been reliable as the team's closer.
